Join Women in Green at Obama Center Gardens 8/31 5-7PM

Location: Obama Presidential Center, Fraser C. Robinson Picnic Area, 6001 S. Stony Island Ave, Chicago, IL Hosted By Chicago Women in Green: Jennifer Amdur Spitz, Karen Weigert, Peggy Redamaker, Amanda Hanley, and Leslie Bowles About Event: It's growing season, for vegetables, for leadership, for community. And this year, for the fight to protect our democracy and our right to vote. Join Chicago Women in Green (WIG) in the Fraser C. Robinson Picnic Area at the Obama Presidential Center. We'll hear briefly from the Chicago Botanic Garden and Urban Growers Collective on their work in the gardens. Good to know: Free and open to women and all who identify as women. RSVP required. The event will be outdoors. Please dress appropriately. Museum access is not included, but the 19-acre campus has plenty to explore. The on-site restaurant stays open until 8 PM. Good opportunity to continue the conversation over dinner. Pay your own way.
